Session Abstract
This course will focus on the fundamentals of case history, patient and physician recommendations, and the associated documentation requirements of audiologists. We will discuss the intricacies of taking and documenting comprehensive case histories, results, and recommendations to meet the requirements of medical necessity and patient care coordination.
About the Presenter
Brian Urban, Au.D. is the President CounselEAR: Efficient Reports, Effective Counseling, and owner of Advanced Hearing and Balance Center in Evanston, Illinois. He has presented at state and national conventions and currently serves as Treasurer on the ADA Board of Directors. Dr. Urban has a Master's degree in Audiology from the University of Minnesota (2000) and an Au.D. degree from Salus University (2006). Dr. Urban also is Adjunct Faculty at Rush University and recently participated in the AAA Jerger Future Leaders of Audiology Conference (JFLAC).
