Dear Hearing Health Partner,

Well, it’s that time of year again!

The Minnesota Academy of Audiology would like to inform you of the sponsorship packages that we are offering to help support MAA and events throughout the calendar year. Over the past two years in utilizing this annual sponsorship method, we have received some feedback from sponsors and volunteers on helping create a sponsorship program that is easy to understand, provides benefit to you, your company, and MAA, and with various payment options. It also allows MAA to make a single solicitation for funds, time and equipment donations within a given year.

MAA promotes several regional and state-wide events throughout the year for audiologists and consumers, and without our sponsors, these events would not be complete.

The Upper Midwest Audiology Conference hosted every February by MAA draws attendance from throughout Minnesota as well as neighboring states. The Conference features national and international presenters attracting over 100 attendees every year from a variety of employment settings. Superior educational opportunities coupled with some fun activities allows for great networking experiences for both attendees and sponsors.

Millions of Minnesotan’s spend a day at the Minnesota State Fair every year, along with a multitude of Minnesota Audiologists where MAA provides hearing screenings, video otoscopy, education and awareness, ear plugs and hearing aid batteries. Sponsors can also market their business by signing up for a sponsorship package or donating equipment or time to the MAA state fair booth.

MAAs quarterly newsletter is distributed to more than 200 MAA members. Sponsors have the opportunity to advertise their company to all of those Audiologists in each newsletter. If you want to catch the eyes of Minnesota Audiologists more than 4 times a year, website banners are also available as part of a benefit package for sponsorship.

MAA supports the Gloria Gross Scholarship Fund, which helps high school seniors with hearing impairment by raising money at a silent auction held at the Conference. We appreciate any donations to this auction, including gift certificates, baskets, sporting event tickets, equipment or other items and all proceeds go to the Scholarship Fund.

Sponsorship levels include PLATINUM, DIAMOND, GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE, FRIEND, NON-PROFIT or EXHIBITOR ONLY. Please consider a new sponsorship package or an upgrade from last year if you have sponsored in the past. The enclosed materials include a listing of the sponsorship packages available and the benefits available under each level.

Please register as a sponsor or exhibitor no later than Friday, December 16, 2011. You may make a payment at the time of registration or complete and save the registration and make your payment in the following calendar year. All registration payments are due no later than Friday, February 10, 2012. MAA reserves the right to incur late fees on any late registrations or payments; sponsors who do not make payment by the cut-off date may forfeit some benefits for which they are paying. Exhibitors who have not paid by February 10, 2012 will not be listed in the vendor directory; any exhibitor who has not paid by February 24, 2012, 8:00 a.m. will not be allowed to exhibit at the conference.

We hope that you choose to continue to support the Minnesota Academy of Audiology and Audiologists throughout the region. If you have any questions regarding registration or other materials provided, please feel free to contact us at sponsorship@minnesotaaudiology.org.
